The project involved the creation of a new cluster of pitches to be equipped with bungalows within the “Camping Village Cieloverde” in Marina di Grosseto.

The intervention area lies within the Pineta del Tombolo, characterized by a broad, shaded canopy formed by large umbrella pine trees and an undergrowth of spontaneous vegetation. The new structures are harmoniously integrated into this environment thanks to the tones and types of materials chosen.

The project, aimed at upgrading and enhancing the tourist facilities of the campsite, seeks maximum integration with the surrounding landscape and the preservation of existing geomorphological and vegetative features, through the use of materials consistent and compatible with the context, without interfering with significant views of the pine forest.
The design is based on complete integration with the surrounding woodland, maintaining its natural character.

The 41 bungalows, including 36 standard units and 5 accessible units for disabled guests, each cover an area of approximately 36 square meters, with an additional 14-square-meter outdoor porch.

Each structure features simple, point-based foundation systems designed to fully respect the surrounding pine forest. The use of this innovative technology made it possible to assemble the structures within a few days and, if necessary, dismantle them just as quickly, restoring the ground to its original natural state — effectively resulting in no actual land consumption.

This is an example of sustainable, “green” architecture, with low CO₂ emissions both during construction and throughout the lifespan and use of the structures. Such an approach is considered the only viable one in environmentally valuable natural settings like this, ensuring a positive environmental balance.
